Karri Kiefat, MBA

Chief Operating Officer

My position at Hearing Associates ensures that the practice is running smoothly and efficiently. I oversee Human Resources, Training, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Marketing & Advertising, Tracking & Strategic Planning, and anything else that is called upon me to do for the practice. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of St. Thomas in Business and received my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bethel University in 2009. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and son doing many activities related to sports, the outdoors, and family. I believe that Hearing Associates is the best clinic to see an Experience Professional with Expert Service and Advice and if hearing instruments are needed they will provide you with the most Extraordinary Technology and the most Exceptional Value. Karla O’Rourke

Billing & Insurance Specialist

As a new member of this great team of professionals, I am proud to be part of this growing corporation. As the Billing and Insurance Specialist, I will ensure that your insurance will be billed accordingly, accurately, and in a timely manner. I will handle incoming, and outgoing billing/insurance questions or concerns that you may have. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with my husband Kevin and our three children, Ethan, Athena, and Arren.

Rene Krenelka

My job at Hearing Associates gives me the opportunity to help our patients in the delivery of their new hearing instruments. I prepare the aids for their visit with the doctor to be fit. I also have further opportunities to help patients personally when they walk-in for lab services such as cleaning and minor repairs. This makes my job very rewarding. When I am not at work, I spend time with my family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, camping, hiking, and biking.

Karen Nyberg

Lab Technician

I have held many roles at Hearing Associates and my current role is definitely the most fun. I troubleshoot all of the hearing aids that come in for repair and make minor repairs on site. I also am in charge of keeping all of the necessary supplies on hand so that we can serve you best. I also serve as a support staff to our audiologists who call on me to do a variety of things to ensure the highest level of service! In my spare time, I enjoy riding a motorcycle with my husband and am an animal lover.

 
Roxanne Nelson

Patient Care Coordinator

I am a part of the Grand Rapids team. Patient care is very important to me and I go the extra mile in individually assisting patients for their hearing health needs. I will help you make an appointment and handle in-office repairs. I am a knowledgable and valuable part of the team. Camping with my husband is my favorite pastime. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my two grown children and my family.

Mary Flinck

Patient Care Coordinator

I am a part of the Grand Rapids team. My primary focus is on providing top-notch patient care. I will assist you in making appointments and addressing concerns about your hearing loss and hearing instruments. In my spare time, I enjoy spending it with my two granddaughters and going to the cabin with my husband and family.
