At long last our remodeling project at our Duluth office is complete. We think you’ll enjoy our well appointed waiting area, complete with a coffee bar and comfortable chairs where you can enjoy your coffee while watching tv or reading a magazine. Our new facility has four state-of-the-art testing and treatment rooms as well as a procedure room for ear wax removal and making impressions. Be sure to ask for a tour at your next appointment.

Come and check our our hands on assistive technology room where you can try out different models of amplified telephones and TV listening systems. Our staff can help you find products that will work with your hearing instruments to give you the best possible hearing in all situations!

Our lab is open daily. If you have a hearing aid that is in need of repair, one of our technicians can analyze it when you bring it in. Our technicians can handle most minor repairs and will send instruments needing major repairs to the manufacturer’s repair lab. Programming adjustments need to have an appointment with an Audiologist.

Dr. Downs was elected to the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Academy of Audiology. We congratulate her on a successful run and thank her for serving on behalf of her colleagues in Northern Minnesota. She will begin her two-year term January 2011.

Welcome Dr. Denise Hove

We are happy to announce Dr. Denise Hove has joined our Grand Rapids team in August. Denise comes to us with fantastic clinical skills and over 10 years experience. With Dr. Hove seeing patients full time in Grand Rapids, we know our patients will enjoy shorter wait times when scheduling appointments and better service.

Several staff members will be traveling to Tucson for Patients For Life training. This program is designed to help all staff members provide the highest level of patient care. We know that they will come back with ideas and skills that will help Hearing Associates achieve their goal of 100% Service Satisfaction.
